League of Women Voters of Rockdale-Newton County

Our Purpose And History:

The League of Women Voters of Rockdale-Newton County works to continue and increase understanding of major public policy issues through education and advocacy. Just as our founders, we strive to create participatory community involvement at the local, state and national levels.

Since the League of Women Voters of Georgia was founded, on April 3, 1920, we are proud that the League remains nonpartisan, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government.

We believe that well-informed citizens are better equipped to make educated choices.
