Annual Legislative Coffee

The annual Legislative Coffee for the Cobb County legislative delegation was held on the evening of Thursday, January 3rd at the Cobb County Commissioners Room..  The event was again sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Marietta-Cobb County, the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta and the American Association of University Women Cobb County Branch.  Janet Cohen spoke on behalf of LWVMC and Sharon Melcher of LWVMC moderated.  The attending Cobb County state legislators (Senator Chip Rogers, Representative Alisha Morgan and Representative Rob Teilhet) were invited to make introductory statements, and thereafter responded to questions from the audience.  TV 23 televised and rebroadcast the legislative coffee.
